Olongapo City - Public Transport Assistance Program (PTAP) / Pantawid Pasada

Kaugnay sa memorandum circular ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG-III), pangangasiwaaan ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Olongapo ang Pantawid Pasada o Public Transport Assistance Program (PTAP) ni Pangulong Benigno  Aquino III sa Olongapo City Convention Center, Mayo 30, 2011 simula ika-9 ng umaga.

Pangungunahan ni Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. at First Lady Anne Gordon ang pamamahagi ng ‘fuel subsidy’ para sa dalawang libo at sampung (2,010) tricycle operators at franchisees na tatanggap ng P150 kada unit.

Makakatuwang sa pamamahagi ng subsidy sina DILG Olongapo City Director Araceli San Jose, Kgd. Bugsy De los Reyes, kasama din ang City Planning and Development Office, City Treasury Office, Accounting Office, Committee on Transportation and Traffic Management at OTMPS.

“Nilikha ang Pantawid Pasada o PTAP upang makapagbigay ng agarang pagtugon sa mabilis na pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina na makakatulong naman sa mga operators at may prangkisa ng tricycle,” wika ni Mayor Gordon.

“Pinapayuhan ang mga operators at franchisees na dalhin ang kani -kanilang Motorized Tricycle Operators’ Permit (MTOP) o Proof of Franchise upang agaran nilang matanggap  ang kanilang mga subsidy,” pahayag naman ni DILG Olongapo City Director Araceli San Jose.
