CITY DMO IS READY FOR THE RAINY DAYS

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. has directed Disaster Management Office Head Angie Layug to prepare and “recharge” his rescue teams as the rainy season approaches.

Meanwhile, Mayor Gordon has reminded Olongapeños to get ready for the upcoming rainy days thru the following:

 Replacing or repairing leaking roofs and ceilings and cleaning the gutters, canals and waterways;

 Cleaning backyards and getting rid of old tires, bottles or containers that can be the breeding grounds of dengue-causing mosquitoes ; and

 By taking enough vitamins and proper care of the body to fight cough and colds which are the common diseases during the rainy days.
