MIS LAUNCHES MAYOR BONG’S SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE

Olongapo City Management Information Systems (MIS) department has launched Mayor James Gordon Jr.’s Social Networking site that includes facebook, twitter, friendster, myspace, multiply and hi5 accounts. These sites shall provide the public with Mayor Bong’s personal information, his interests, friends and others.

It also contains screenful of information such as texts, graphic images or even photographs, sound and video.

Being the leader of the city, the websites provide information of important announcements, news, programs and events in the city. It also offers a place where users can interact with Mayor Bong.

The website also contains the up-to-date events and activities happening in the city and features livelihood and skills trainings and, awards received by the city under his administration.

“Ang website ay magsisilbing information pathway para sa mga Olongapeño upang makapag-bigay ng update ng mga bagong pangyayari at mga importanteng datos tungkol sa lungsod. Malakas ang impact ng internet sa society at gagamitin natin ito upang maabot ang ating mga kababaya,” said Mayor Gordon.
