Lions Multiple District holds convention at Subic

The Lions Multiple District (MD) 301, Philippines will hold its 60th Annual State Convention at the Subic Bay exhibition & Convention Center, Olongapo City from May 28 to 31, said Council Chairperson & Past District Governor Danilo A. Sanchez.

“LIONS, Everyday Heroes Bring Miracles thru Service” is the theme of this year’s convention which is hosted by District Governor Salvador G. Toledo Jr. The Convention Chairperson is District 301-D1 Immediate Past District Governor Carmelita S. Cruz.

Representing Lions Club International President, Albert Brandel, are International Directors Ryuichi Goto of Japan; Ellis Suriyati Omar of Malaysia; and Dr. Datuk Naga from India, Chairperson of the Global Membership Team.

Highlights of the affair are as follows: motorcade, call on City Mayor James Gordon Jr., seminars for incoming clubs and districts officers, Pinoy Olympics, Miss Philippines Lions Pageant, medical, dental, refraction and distribution of eyeglasses; tree planting projects; gifts distribution at the Bahay Ampunan Orphanage; Inter-district Club Twinning; Leo Seminar; Opening Plenary; Grand Parade;
